We are pleased to invite you to The Ukrainian Startup National Digital Competition 2021

FIB’s concept is to hold a National Competition between the Top Universities in Ukraine to identify leading Startup business ideas and to scout for bright minds and entrepreneurs to lead the next innovative startup companies. At the end of the Competition, and after a review by our Professional Panel of Technical and Financial experts, the winners will get an investment support.

    Eligible applicants Enroll online

    The FIB concept is to hold National Startup Competition for students, graduates, postgraduates, tutors, and other interested in the opportunity to get financial and strategic backing to their business ideas/ventures. Startup teams can include any combination of entrants.
    Information on FIB’s competition will also be distributed among leading Ukrainian Universities and will be supported by them. The Competition is held to identify and support bright business ideas

  • Thursday 01.07

    First screening

    First screening of competitors and ideas will take about 4 weeks depending on the amount of participants

  • Sunday 04.07

    Expert panel

    An expert panel of technical, financial, and commercial professionals will review and short the list of 10-15 finalists to continue to the next round

  • Tuesday 06.07

    In depth presentation by finalists

    An in-depth presentation by finalists will be held over Zoom and/or physical presentation (If possible due to Covid-19 restrictions)

  • Wednesday 07.07

    Expert team

    An expert team of judges will select the top winners based on all data collected from reviewers and expert panel

  • Thursday 08.07

    Conclusion

    The winning participant/s will sign an agreement with the investors/fund for the financial support to their project and will also receive unique assistance to access global markets and promote the project and business


Uniqueness

The uniqueness of FIB based on the combination of world-class investor groups on the one hand and the most innovative audience of participants on the other. FIB is attracting investors provided by Israeli partners and students, graduates, university staff with the assistance of Ukrainian partners: Ukrainian association of IT professionals and the Faculty of Information Technology of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. FIB is organized in direct cooperation with leading universities of Ukraine. It reaches a potential audience of startups and entrepreneurs from the best universities to support great ideas at a very early stage. The main organizers of the Competition are Dr. Margarita Bel, Director of Business Development at Cyber Incident Response Company and Dr. Serhiy Bronin, President of the Ukrainian association of IT professionals (UAITP).

National Startup Сompetition for students, graduates, postgraduates and tutors is organized by "Ukrainian association of IT professionals", leading Universities of Ukraine and a Group of investors from all over the world, united by the Israeli Investment Fund.
Various Startup teams are allowed to participate in the competition.
Channels for disseminating information about the Competition are aimed at the university audience.
Investors are interested in innovative early stage Startups and bright business ideas.
Such startups occur the most often in the university’s environment.
